Privacy Policy

We collect information that you provide directly to us, as well as data gathered automatically during your use of the platform.

Account Information: When an administrator or coach registers, we collect names, email addresses, password hashes, and account settings (such as lightning alert radius preferences).

Roster and Schedule Data: We process schedule files (such as CSV uploads), team names, administrator assignments, game venues, and physical addresses added to the monitored home ground areas or dashboard maps.

Participant Contact Details: To facilitate SMS updates, we collect phone numbers of parents, guardians, and participants when explicitly provided by administrators or through private subscription invitations.

Payment Data: All payment and card transactions are processed securely by our third-party billing operator, Stripe. Field4cast does not store credit card numbers or raw billing details on our servers. Stripe provides us with limited billing data, such as tokenized transaction IDs, subscription tier status, and expiration dates.

Usage and Location Data: We automatically log your IP address, browser type, device information, and interactions with our maps, live radar feeds, and settings panels.

We use the collected data to operate, maintain, and optimize the Field4cast platform. Specifically, this includes:

Mapping and parsing your CSV files to identify scheduled game venues.

Executing lightning alerts and weather monitoring within your configured proximity guards.

Processing upgrades, tracking billing cycles, and validating subscription limits (Starter, Essential, Premier).

Dispatching critical team text messages and weather updates to parents and participants.

Debugging technical map, venue management, or dashboard rendering issues.

We do not sell your personal data. We only share information under the following limited circumstances:

Service Providers: We share necessary data with trusted third-party infrastructure components, including Stripe for payment processing and map/SMS API partners to deliver automated weather features and location tracking.

Compliance with Law: We may disclose data if required by code, regulation, or legal process to protect safety, address fraud, or respond to valid government requests.

Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of the business assets.

Administrators represent that they have obtained required participant consents before importing numbers or initiating roster updates.

Parents and recipients can opt-out of field-specific SMS weather alerts at any time by following the opt-out instructions provided within the text messages.

We store account information, schedules, and roster contacts while the account is active. A coach can delete the account and the data stored for it from Account settings. That deletion is permanent.

Cancel a paid plan in Billing before deleting the account so the subscription does not renew.

A parent, player, or other contact can ask us to remove their phone number by emailing support@field4cast.com. We will remove it from the roster we can access.

The site uses a sign-in cookie to keep a coach logged in. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Details are in the Cookie Policy.

Coach accounts are for adults 18 or older. Field4Cast is not directed at children under 13. A coach who adds a minor's phone number represents that a parent or guardian has agreed to that contact. Parents can ask for the number to be deleted.

We use Supabase for accounts and stored data, Stripe for payments, Twilio for text messages, Google for place search, Tomorrow.io and Open-Meteo for forecasts, RainViewer for radar tiles, and Esri for the map background. We send those providers only what the feature needs. We do not sell personal data.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect shifts in our features, connected APIs, or legal requirements. We will notify you of any changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
